Matmarine Blue Ingredient
Sebum-rebalancing efficacy from the sea
Due to environmental conditions and hormonal or behavioral components, your skin can lose its natural sebum-regulating capacity and show signs of impurities, pore dilation and an unattractive “shiny” appearance. The active ingredient “Matmarine®” is formulated to rebalance sebum production in oily and acne-prone skin. This active ingredient, obtained from cultures of bio-fermented Pseudoalteromonas of marine origin, is tested in vitro and in vivo for the ability to reduce the accumulation of sebaceous lipids and limit the maturation of sebocytes.
Laboratory tests show that this active ingredient proves effective in minimizing porous areas and promoting the synthesis of collagen type I. Studies also show that this active ingredient indirectly succeeds in limiting the expression of skin inflammation related genes, an important property for acne-prone skin. Clinical tests conducted on Matmarine ® show that skin pores, which in the case of oily skin are commonly dilated and numerous, appear significantly reduced in number ( -20,5%) and surface area ( -18,8%) after only 14 days of application, with visible reduction of the shiny effect.

The tree of longevity, one of the oldest natural remedies in the world
The Ginkgo Biloba tree, native to China, is one of the most long-lived plant species on the planet. Preserved for thousands of years by Chinese monks who cultivate these sacred trees near places of worship, Ginkgo Biloba has been used in traditional medicine since ancient times to treat the skin as well as the organism.
Current scientific laboratory research has succeeded in testing and demonstrating the antioxidant and regenerating effects of its extracts, rich in flavonoids (such as kampferol, quercetin, isoramnetin, coumaric acid and catechins), terpenic derivatives and ginkgolic acids.
Scientific tests have demonstrated Ginkgo Biloba’s ability to significantly improve skin elasticity, hydration and cell regeneration. Significant studies also agree in asserting Ginkgo’s effectiveness in the improvement of skin micro-circulation, which has a positive effect on the appearance of stressed out and dull skin, helping to slow down the skin’s aging process, also when caused by external environmental conditions, such as photoaging.
